As we all adjust to the impact of the coronavirus/COVID19 pandemic, we need to remain informed and to support each other. Here are some highlight links and numbers to support your family or small business:
- For medical emergencies, call 911;
- For general Miami Dade County information, call 311;
- Follow updates from Center for Disease Control at http://www.cdc.gov;
- Possible exposure to COVID or exhibiting symptoms (fever, dry cough, headaches, shortness of breath)? Call Florida Dept of Health at 305-324-2400; If you have a medical provider, call them; If traveling to a medical office or facility, call ahead;
- For State public health updates, call the Florida Department of Health 24/7 at 1-866-779-6121 – https://floridahealthcovid19.gov
- For SENIORS – if you have any problems getting meals, call Miami-Dade County’s 311 Call Center to be connected to the Emergency Operations Center
- For Food Establishments, bars, clubs, and hotels (no new lodgers), County has issued a closed order; Businesses that can remain OPEN include healthcare providers, supermarkets, mini-markets, banks, and pharmacies. See https://www.miamidadecounty/coronavirus for listing of county wide closures.

- Prevention Protocol:
- Wash hands frequently (soap/water/sanitzer) for at least 20 seconds
- Avoid touching your face (Healthy Hands, Happy Face)
- Cough/sneeze in a disposable tissue or your elbow
- Sanitize all areas around you; keep clean tissue or wipes with you (including for shopping carts, gas pumps, food packages, incoming mail, etc.)
- Practice physical distancing (no gatherings of more than 10 persons)

- Avoid peak hours for shopping of any essential needs; SENIORS take advantage of early shopping hours
