Miami Carnival celebrations begin on October 5 at Central Broward Regional Park with the staging of Junior Carnival, also known as “Kiddies Carnival.” Junior Carnival is where the next generation steps into the vibrant world of mas and Carnival. This unforgettable tradition kicks off the week of celebrations leading up to the Carnival Parade on October 13, inspiring many to become future leaders in the celebration of Caribbean heritage.

Junior Carnival empowers kids through artistry, dance, and teamwork in a fun and collaborative setting, building confidence and a sense of community. Children learn the value of cooperation, competition, and camaraderie while expressing themselves creatively and growing stronger as individuals and as a group.

Last year’s event was a hit with exciting Band Competitions, Junior Steel, Soca, and the Junior King and Queen Competitions—and we can’t wait to see what the kids bring this year! Don’t miss out on this incredible experience for the whole family. For more information, visit miamicarnival.org.
