Miramar, FL – July 3, 2025 – Logan Hall, a standout soccer talent and community leader from Miramar, Florida, has earned national recognition as the 2025 Gatorade Soccer Player of the Year for Florida, capping off an impressive high school career.
Born on September 5, 2006, Logan has called Miramar home all his life, starting his athletic journey at age three with Miramar Police Athletic League (PAL). It was there that his passion for soccer first took root. Over the years, Logan honed his skills with Miramar United Football Club (now Fort Lauderdale United FC), and later with the elite South Florida Football Academy MLS Next Team. As part of the Academy’s U17 and U19 squads, Logan was selected twice for MLS All-Star teams and showcased his talent internationally at the Capelli Cup in Denmark in July 2023.
During his senior year at Pembroke Pines Charter High School (2024–2025), Logan served as team captain, netting an impressive 20 goals and 14 assists. His exceptional leadership and on-field performance earned him the Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald Soccer Athlete of the Year titles.
Off the field, Logan has distinguished himself academically and philanthropically. Graduating with a 4.1 GPA and a love for History, Logan embodies the ideal of a student-athlete. Beyond academics and sports, he has made significant contributions to his parents’ homeland of Jamaica, working alongside Florida Atlantic University, Vaz Preparatory School Past Students’ Association, and Kiwanis Jamaica to provide over 200 refurbished computers to underserved schools across the island.
This August, Logan will take the next step in his journey, joining Jacksonville University’s Division 1 soccer program, where he aims to continue excelling both on and off the pitch.
“I’m grateful for my community, my coaches, and my family who have supported me every step of the way,” Logan said. “I’m excited to start this new chapter at Jacksonville University and to keep giving back wherever I can.”
