Kingston, Jamaica – January 20, 2026 – The Bob Marley Museum invites Jamaicans and visitors from around the world to join in celebrating the life, legacy and enduring impact of The Honourable Robert Nesta Marley, O.M., on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 56 Hope Road, the iconic home of the Bob Marley Museum.

This year’s Earthstrong celebrations will be held under the theme Positive Vibration, taken from Rastaman Vibration, the landmark 1976 album, which turns 50 this year. Rooted in resilience, unity, and forward movement, the theme reflects the spirit of both Marley’s message and the Jamaican people.

Inspired by the island’s unwavering strength in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Positive Vibration captures the true essence of who we are as Jamaicans, celebrated worldwide for our warmth, creativity, and ability to rise above adversity. As the celebrations unfold, the message remains clear: we are rebuilding stronger together. Through sustained initiatives and community-driven partnerships, the Bob and Rita Marley Foundations remain committed to helping families return to safe homes, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening institutions that prepare our students for the future.

Cedella Marley, CEO of the Bob Marley Group of Companies, shared:

“Daddy would want us to show up for our people. He led by example, and I know he would be one of the first to start helping, so we are responding. We honour and celebrate his life by taking care of our brothers and sisters and by promoting positive vibration, not just in words but in action.”
