Hollywood, Fla. – The spirit of Jamaica will shine bright on Friday, January 2, 2026, as Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood transforms into a powerful stage for Stay Strong Jamaica — a benefit concert uniting some of the island’s most beloved artists in support of hurricane recovery efforts.
What began as a heartfelt idea has blossomed into a full-scale musical movement, thanks in large part to the vision and determination of Jamaica’s Consul General to Miami, Oliver Mair, who is widely credited with organizing the event. His leadership brought together artists, sponsors, and partners to create a night that promises both inspiration and impact.
Featuring an extraordinary lineup that includes Shaggy, Julian Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Wayne Wonder, Inner Circle, Third World, The Wailers, I-Octane, Etana, Tee Jay, Shuga, Ernie Smith, Mykal Rose, Chalice, Brick and Lace, Ed Robinson, and many more, Stay Strong Jamaica will showcase the very best of reggae, dancehall, and Caribbean soul.
Tickets are on sale now at www.myHRL.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. Additional fees may apply.
All net proceeds will go directly to Jamaica’s Promise, the designated beneficiary of the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, providing vital housing, infrastructure, and humanitarian aid to communities hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa.

At a press reception announcing the event, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia “Babsy” Grange, expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved.
“This concert is more than fundraising — it’s a celebration of resilience and unity,” said Minister Grange. “Reggae once again becomes the bridge that takes us over troubled waters.”
David Hoenemeyer, Chief Operating Officer of Seminole Gaming, echoed the sentiment.
“Hosting Stay Strong Jamaica is both an honor and a responsibility we take to heart,” he said. “Every dollar raised will help families rebuild with hope and dignity.”
As preparations continue, excitement is building across the diaspora. For Consul General Mair, Stay Strong Jamaica is more than just a concert — it’s a symbol of community, connection, and the enduring power of Jamaican music to uplift the world.
