MIRAMAR, FL – (FEBRUARY 23, 2024) – The City of Miramar hosted yet another sensational edition of its annual cultural extravaganza, the Afro-Carib Festival, drawing nearly 4,000 music, food, and fashion enthusiasts to Miramar Regional Park on Saturday, February 17, 2024. With an electrifying lineup of top performers spanning various musical genres, the 4th Annual Afro-Carib Festival garnered widespread acclaim from attendees who were treated to an unforgettable experience.

Internationally renowned artists such as afrobeat sensation Fireboy DML, reggae icon Tony Rebel, Grammy Award winner Kabaka Pyramid, Jamaican dancehall sensation Nadine Sutherland, Afro-Creole konpa artist Kenny Haiti, and a surprise guest performance by Sharon Marley, the adopted daughter of Bob Marley, captivated the audience with their mesmerizing performances. Local talent Yung Wylin’ brought his unique conscious acts “Good Energy” to the stage, while classic salsa artist David Lucca and Los Clasicos added an authentic Afro-Latin flavor to the event. The festivities kicked off with an exhilarating performance by the cultural youth dance troupe, Drumming Fingers.

From the stellar musical performances to the delectable array of island cuisine and the vibrant shopping marketplace, the 2024 Afro-Carib Festival in Miramar was a true celebration of culture and musical talent, catering to the diverse tastes of the multi-generational audience.
